The fund entity is used for both PAC contributions and donations and is essentially a link to a product in the product catalog and a container to track donations, pledges and contributions. For PAC contributions, there are hard and soft funds that determine what the contributions can be used for. For more information on the difference between hard and soft funds, click here.
General Tab
- Name - The name of the fund, usually the distinction of Hard vs. Soft is also made here. Ex: RPAC - Soft Dollar
- Product - The product that will be tied to the order for any donations or contributions made to this fund.
- Description - A description of the fund.
