Fulfilling Membership Application Requirements Doesn't Automatically Promote Membership Status Reason from Pending to Active
Let's say you've processed a Membership Application for a new member, have opened their new Membership Application record, clicked on Requirements on the left-side menu, ran the Complete workflow against all pending Requirements, however, after refreshing the new member's main contact record, you find that the membership status is still pending (rather than active). You know that by completing all requirements associated with the Membership Application, the member status should have promoted to active, but in this instance, it did not.
In most cases, the reason why this is likely to be occurring is because the "Membership Activation" field on the REALTOR® Member Type is set to "Manual" (see the screenshot below). This should be toggled to "Automatic" if Memberships should be automatically activated when all the requirements on the Membership Application are met and the application is completed.
