How to Apply a Late Fee to Your Dues

This article highlights the steps to add a late fee to your member's unpaid dues orders,

1) Navigate to the Dues Cycle in Question

2) Open up Your Dues Schedules to make sure that a Late Fee product is assigned. The product that you have selected in the Late Fee lookup field is what the system will consider the Late Fee. The system will attach that product to any unpaid orders underneath that billing schedule.

3) Head back to your Dues Cycle. Click Run Workflow in the toolbar and then run the Apply Dues Late Fee workflow.

*You can check the status of the workflow by going to Background Processes (in the Associated Entities dropdown) on the Dues Cycle

4) To make sure that the late fee was applied, Navigate to an unpaid dues item underneath your billing Cycle and ensure that the Pricing Stage = Late Fee Applied and that the associated order has the product designated on your late fee field on the schedule
