Why isn't a member showing up in our portal directory when the 'Include Profile in Membership Directory' flag is set to yes?

Go to the contact record and scroll down to the membership subgrid. Note the association on the primary membership.

Advanced Find for 'Associations' and click 'Results'

Click into the association record of the association set on the primary membership

If 'Display Memberships on Portal' is set to 'No,' the member in question will not display on the portal. If you want this member to display, you will need to flip this flag to 'Yes.'
