We have simplified the process of applying late fees to unpaid dues items and deactivating memberships. This article includes the simple steps of setting up your CRM to automatically apply the late fee and deactivate memberships without configuring workflows.
2. Add the 'Apply Late Fee Date' and click the 'Save' icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
If you would also like to set a date to automatically deactivate unpaid memberships, enter a date for 'Deactivate Membership Date.' Dates to automatically apply late fee 2 and close the dues cycle are also managed here.
Note: The right side of this section will automatically update to 'Yes' when the action has been triggered on the date that was set.

3. Check that the 'Automatic Cycle Management' workflow is activated.
4. Check that the Cron Job is active.
4.2. If the 'Automatic Dues Cycle Management' Cron Job is listed under the 'Active Cron Jobs' view, it is active and running.
If the Cron Job is not listed, change the view to 'Inactive Cron Jobs' using the arrow. Then select the Cron Job and click 'Activate' in the task ribbon above the list.

5. Check that the late fee product is linked to the dues schedules.
On the Dues Cycle record, scroll through or open the Dues Schedule sub-grid to see that the late fee product has been linked to the dues schedules.
6. Check that the late fee product is active.
Open the late fee product records and make sure the product has an active status and active status reason.
