Create a Class Instructor Record

Class instructor records can be created and linked to classes following the steps below.

Click the New button in the ribbon tool bar for a blank class instructor form.

Fill out the form and click Save.

  • Name: The name of the Class Instructor record. This is usually the full name of the instructor.
  • Contact: A lookup to the Contact record for the instructor if the instructor is already a Contact in the system.
  • User: A look up to the User record for the instructor if the instructor is already a User in the system.
  • Biography: Information about the instructor. The information in this field will be displayed on the Portal.

On the Classes Sub-Grid, click the (+) sign to add classes taught by this Class Instructor.

NOTE: Check on the Inactive Class Instructors to ensure duplicates are not being created. If an Inactive instructor is part of a class, it will still show that instructor's information on the portal.

An easy way to add multiple Classes would be to click the Magnifying Glass on the Classes Sub-Grid, then click Look Up More Records. You can then add multiple Classes that use that Class Instructor.

From the lookup select any Classes that use that Class Instructor.
