Error When Creating a New Dues Item

ISSUE: Business Process Error occurs when you try to manually create a new dues item for a member.

 

SOLUTION:

THE DUES ITEM IS MISSING A PRICING STRATEGY DATE

If any of the products on your dues options has prorations you must have a Pricing Strategy Date for the dues item to work properly. 

1. Navigate to the dues item of the member. 

2. Check the Pricing Strategy Date. If it is blank you will need to fill in an appropriate date to get the prorations you want.

3. Save the record.

4. You should see an Order generated in the order field. Click the link to confirm the order is for the correct amount.
